Richard Armstrong

This marks an author's first online publication Richard Armstrong likes to think of himself as a young, semi-formal poet living in Seattle. Richard occasionally attends the University of Washington, fitting classes in between fishing trips to the Olympic Peninsula.

What The Old Men Told Me About The NY School

it's like
the old school
new School
of Athens:

ear,
to the streets,
finger,
to the sky.

Kitchen Table Sittin'

In the kitchen
My little lady,
Shizzle-pop!
She's fryin' mushrooms
And talkin' on her
Cell phone
In high heels,
Distracting
Me
From my poem.
